We welcome and honor individuals, companies, organizations and groups who support our charitable cause in a significant way by becoming our sponsor. We adopt a minimalist approach in our expenses in order to be able to fund our scholarship and education programs.

 

Sponsorship consists of donating money of $200 and above for the general or a specific expense item in the conduct of our work. The Sponsorship term is generally annual but may be multi-year. 

 

Sponsors and their logos or pictures, if any, will be displayed on the SCMA website, acknowledged at our Summer Picnic, Christmas Party and Dinner-Dance events. They will also be mentioned in our newsletter and souvenir program.

 

There are many ways to be a Sponsor. Here are just a few examples:

 

1. Purchase Ads. This sponsorship is for placing personal and business ads to be included in our Dinner-Dance Souvenir Program. Click this link to download the Souvenir Program Ad form.

 

2. Adopt-a-Scholar. This sponsorship is intended to support a specific scholar SCMA scholar under the terms of the SCMA-Mapua University Scholarship Program until the scholar graduates. The scholar and the sponsor(s) will be bestowed naming honors. For example, an SCMA scholar, Kayla Athena Bermundo, will be named a “Cynthia De Leon and Rosalinda Tandoc SCMA Scholar”. The cost of this sponsorship is $400 per quarter with donations made at least two quarters in advance.

3. Dinner-Dance Band. This sponsorship is intended to pay for some of the expenses for hiring a band at our Dinner-dance fundraiser event. This sponsorship will be acknowledged in the Dinner-dance program. The cost of this sponsorship is $500.

​

4. Website. This sponsorship will go towards the cost of the SCMA website’s hosting, and domain name registration. The cost of this sponsorship is $200.

5. Newsletter. This sponsorship will go towards the cost of printing and mailing SCMA's semi-annual newsletter for one year. The cost of this sponsorship is $300.

​

6. Event Sponsor. This sponsorship will go toward the cost of hosting events such as sports tournaments, Christmas party, fundraising activities, etc. The cost of this sponsorship is $200.

​

7. Picnic Lechon. This sponsorship is for the purchase or donation of the Lechon to be served at the SCMA Summer Picnic. The cost of this sponsorship is $300 or more depending on the size of the Lechon.

8. General Sponsor. This sponsorship is for an unspecified purpose and will go the general fund for miscellaneous expenses and for supporting the Scholarship and Education programs. This sponsorship is recommended for companies and organizations.  This sponsorship is for $200 or more. A Sponsor giving SCMA over $500 will be considered an “SCMA Patron”.
